Whilst making the actual trailer for 'Permanence', I was also drawing sketches daily and nightly within a leather journal. There's officially 240 pages in this sketchbook just full of world development, behind-the-scenes, character designing, experiments and even more. I did this as I truly love developing worlds, creating rules, animals, myths, personalities and most importantly: lives. I spend more time drawing and imagining worlds than I do in the real world!
Here is most of my environment and building designs that I did for the world development of 'Permanence'- if I had a bigger budget and more time, maybe this village would of been more than just some sketches in a journal and rough plans! Luckily, I made this journal to show off what kind of plans live within me to show what I'm capable of underneath the final products I produce for my lecturers, along with having a memoir of this journal in the future if I'm ever able to produce the real film of 'Permanence'.
A lot of these designs are inspired by real buildings from places I've visited- such as Ludlow, Shrewsbury, The Crooked House Pub and Bridgnorh. I chose these places due to their vintage attire that matched with the cottage-core theme I was going for in my village designs.
